Music Direction

Ignacio Jarquin has conducted the Orchestra and Choir of Radio Netherlands, Paris Symphonic Orchestra, Spanish National Symphony Orchestra, Cairo Opera Orchestra and Choir, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, etc.

He obtained his diploma with distinction at the Vienna Conservatory  and made his début at the Stadttheater St. Pölten, Lower Austria. He then moved to France to work at the Atelier d’Art Lyric of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and later became the funder and musical director of a Paris based independent Opera Company.

Ignacio was head-hunted to design and conduct major musical events around the world for France’s first TV channel TF 1. After moving to the UK in 2001 he worked as a music director, répétiteur and voice coach for several music and theatre ensembles culminating with performances at the Barbican, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cadogan Hall,etc.

He currently lives in Berlin where he collaborates with international dance and theatre companies as a music director and voice coach.
