Ignacio Jarquin has conducted the Orchestra and Choir of Radio Netherlands, Paris Symphonic Orchestra, Spanish National Symphony Orchestra, Cairo Opera Orchestra and Choir, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, etc. He obtained his diploma with distinction at the Vienna Conservatory and made his début at the City Theatre in St Pölten, Lower Austria. He moved to France to work at the Atelier d’Art Lyric of the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, he later became the musical director of a Paris based independent Opera Company and was head hunted to conduct major musical events around the world for France’s first TV channel TF 1. After moving to the UK, he became a member of Brighton’s Prodigal Theatre Company and Musical Director of the Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus. He currently works as a répétiteur, vocal coach and voice teacher.
